Pool Equipment Plumbing
We do the plumbing on the pad. Pool chemistry and the shell are somebody else's specialty, and we will say so.
This covers the plumbing side of pool equipment: the pipework between pump, filter, and heater, diverter and check valves, unions, and leaks on the equipment pad. It is straightforward work that gets neglected because it sits outside and nobody looks at it until something sprays.
PVC on a Tampa equipment pad lives in direct sun year-round, and UV exposure makes it brittle over time. Cracked unions, failed valve bodies, and leaking joints on the pad are among the most common things we find.
Our boundary is clear. We do not do water chemistry, we do not resurface shells, and we do not diagnose leaks in the pool structure itself — that is a leak detection specialist. If your water loss is not on the pad, we will tell you and point you to the right trade rather than guessing.

Tampa note
Year-round sun is hard on pool pad PVC in Tampa, and UV degradation is the most common cause of the pad leaks we get called to. Shading the pad — even simply — is one of the cheapest maintenance decisions a pool owner can make in this climate.

Only if the loss is on the equipment pad or in accessible pipework. Loss through the shell, the liner, or buried lines needs a pool leak detection specialist with different equipment. We will tell you which one you have rather than guessing.
Do you service pumps and heaters?
We do the plumbing connected to them. Equipment repair itself is a pool service specialty. We will happily replace the pipework and valves around a unit somebody else services.
Why does my pad PVC keep cracking?
Almost always UV exposure. PVC in direct Florida sun becomes brittle over years, and unions and valve bodies fail first. Shading the pad slows it considerably.
